Poland is likely to open a tender for its second DTT multiplex this August.
Quoted in Wirtualne Media, Anna Strezynska, the president of the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE), said that consultations as to the details of the tender are still taking place, though they should be completed later this month.
They have to be agreed with the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT), the other industry regulator.
Strezynska added that the UKE would like to give applicants a period of three months to familiarise themselves with the tender and submit a bid.
Poland’s first DTT multiplex will be launched this September.
