Digital Cable Systems (DCS), the third largest cable operator in Romania, is set to invest €5 million this year on expanding fixed-line residential telephony services and developing its internet access offer.
Quoted in ZF, DCS executive director Dinu Malacopol said the main effort would be the internet offer as it is has recently shown the greatest percentage increase in DCS’s revenues.
There would also be more emphasis on the rollout of triple play services to residential customers.
DCS is backed by AIG Capital Partners and uses the brand name Akta for both its cable services and a DTH platform it operates.
It currently has a combined total of just over 200,000 TV and internet subscribers.
