Latvia gears up for DTT

The incumbent Latvian telco Lattelecom has already invested around LVL1 million (€1.44 million) on its forthcoming DTT operation.

Quoting the telco’s project manager, DB says that the first stage of its preparations are over and that DTT services will become available in the capital, Riga, in the second half of July.

Lattelecom, which already operates an IPTV service, was awarded a DTT licence earlier this year.
