TVN earned more in ad revenue in the first half of this year than any other TV channel in Poland.
According to data produced by TNS OBOP for Wirtualne Media, the figure amounted to PLN1,374,645,117 (€313,500,085), or 7.3% more than in H1 2008.
Although Polsat was in second place with PLN1,166,892,624, its earnings were 12.7% lower than a year earlier.
Third placed TVP1 and TVP2 had a successful first half, with their earnings of PLN856,362,143 and PLN576,020,416 being 23.3% and 25.6% respectively up on H1 1008.
Viva Polska, in fifth place, nevertheless posted a remarkable 162.1% year-on-year increase in ad revenues.
