In a surprise move, the Dutch DTH platform Canal Digitaal Satelliet has added Eurosport HD to its offer. As from yesterday (Wednesday, July 1), the channel has been available to its HD subscribers.
Earlier yesterday, Canal Digitaal added History HD to its HD bouquet. Just a few hours later, both the DTH provider and the Dutch office of the sports channel announced the launch on the satellite platform.
Canal Digitaal’s sister operation TV Vlaanderen, serving Dutch speaking people in Belgium, has also added Eurosport HD.
The two platforms now offer a total of eight HD channels, namely Discovery HD, National Geographic HD, MTVN HD, BravaHDTV, VRT Eén HD, myZen.tv, History HD and Eurosport HD.
