Romtelecom has slashed the cost of its Clicknet broadband internet packages by up to 76%.
ZF reports that the incumbent Romania telco is now charging €4.88 a month, including VAT, for a connection of 2 Mbps, while its 8 Mbps service has been reduced to €14.16 a month.
Romtelecom is the largest provider of fixed telco services in Romania, with around 3 million lines.
It operates Dolce, the country’s second most successful DTH platform after RCS/RDS’s Digi TV and will shortly launch an IPTV service.
