The Business of Multiscreen Television
CET 21, the licence holder of the leading Czech station TV Nova, has signed an agreement with Smart Comp. for the distribution of Nova HD and Nova Sport HD over IPTV by cable operators.
The deal comes into effect on July 1 in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia and may in due course also include TV Nova’s SD channels.
Smart Comp. operates NETBOX fibre-optic networks in Brno, Prague, Jihlava, Havlickuv Brod, Olomouc, Zlin and Opava, offering internet access connections of up to 100 Mbps.
