Swisscom’s IPTV service Bluewin will offer live football matches on a pay-per-view (PPV) basis from the start of next season. It will also add a number of new channels to its offer on July 1.
Customers will be able to watch the best games from the top leagues in England (Premier League), Spain (La Liga), Portugal (Liga Sagres) and France (Ligue 1) live as a pay-per-view service on Teleclub Sport. Split-screen coverage will allow viewers to follow several games at the same time.
Coverage of the Swiss AXPO Super League will be extended to 160 games per season and the platform will continue to offer games from the Italian Serie A, the German Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League. Individual games will cost CHF 2.50 (€1.7).
Bluewin TV will also add eight new channels to its basic TV offer on July 1. They will include a number of UK services, Schweizer Sportfernsehen (SSF), TV5 Monde FBS, La Télé, Rai Storia, FIVE, E4, More 4 and Thai TV Global Network.
