The Czech company FTV Prima has launched a new digital channel named R1.
According to Parabola, the service, which is being distributed terrestrially on the Multiplex 2, replaces a channel named Prima Club that was to be launched this month on satellite, cable and DTT.
Multiplex 2 is operated by Ceske Radiokomunikace (CRa) and already carries the sister services Prima Cool and Prima TV, along with TV Nova, Nova Cinema and TV Barrandov.
R1’s output includes regional news and programmes aimed at female viewers.
