The Czech DTH platform CS Link has increased its capacity at Astra’s 23.5 degrees East prime orbital position by one transponder.
As a result, it will now employ four transponders on the Astra satellite system.
CS Link is operated by Mediavision and currently offers 32 digital TV channels and 13 radio stations to 350,000 subscribers. It is one of four DTH platforms operating in the Czech Republic, the others being Skylink, UPC and Digi TV.
Skylink, the market leader, claims over 600,000 subscribers in the Czech Republic and neighbouring Slovakia.
