Sony has announced that the on-demand video service VidZone is now available for free for European PlayStation 3 owners.
The service from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) provides over 10,000 free music videos on demand for PS3 owners, letting them watch single videos or create their own playlists for viewing on their “connected” TV.
The service is available for download over the Playstation Store for free, and is launched through the music section of the cross media bar. You can then choose individual tracks, create a library or make playlists.
Sony said VidZone is supported by major music companies and thousands of independent labels, some of the artists available include Britney Spears, Fatboy Slim, Black Eyed Peas, P!nk, Ne-Yo, Tori Amos, Akon, The Pussycat Dolls and Dizzee Rascal.
