UPC’s digital cable service now has 40,000 subscribers in Slovakia.
In the capital, Bratislava, it is received in one in five homes connected to UPC’s fibre-optic network, while in the country as a whole it can now be accessed in 310,000 homes.
UPC says it currently has over 70,000 subscribers to all the digital TV services it offers, which include those delivered via DTH (UPC Direct) and MMDS, as well as cable.
UPC’s digital cable service in Slovakia currently offers over 80 channels, six of which are in HD, and a DVR product.
