ANGA CABLE 2009 – COLOGNE. The Spanish language platform Multivision Latino is looking to extend its European footprint.
“We are looking to offer a suite of channels to both operators and to individual households,” said sales representative Teba Gomez-Monche. “That is why we are here at ANGA for the first time.”
Multivision Latino offers a bouquet of 14 channels from Latin America, broadcasting from Intelsat 905 to Europe. The line-up includes TV Azteca and Azteca Novelas from Mexico, TV Columbia and Caracol from Colombia, Tele Nostalgia, the news channels Nuestra Tele 24 and Cable Noticias, music on Rumba TV and the niche channel Body.
“Operators can take the whole package or individual channels, “ said Gomez-Monche, “and they can also decide to put them in different tiers. The Rumba TV music channel could be perfect for basic, for instance.”
Live football from various Latin American competitions is also a major programme feature on some of the channels, including games from Mexico, Ecuador and Colombia.
