ANGA CABLE 2009 – COLOGNE. IneoQuest Technologies is launching two new signal quality monitoring products at ANGA this week.
The Cricket QAM Plus dual-tuner QAM probe monitors RF QAM and MPEG signals and is designed for cost effective monitoring of streaming channels.
The IQDialogue Secondary Services server-based software solution meanwhile ensures the seamless delivery of ancillary MPEG metadata to the set top box.
The metadata monitored and analysed is used by services such as interactive video, closed-captioning and emergency broadcast messaging.
The Cricket QAM Plus enables operators to monitor, analyse, debug and resolve video quality issues at hub sites or the subscriber’s home. It provides a QAM constellation diagra , and measures RF power level, frequency offset, symbol rate offset, BER and MER.
In addition. it also provides MPEG monitoring and analysis.
