ANGA CABLE 2009 – COLOGNE. Austrian Ruwido’s long and sleek universal remote control units now include a version carrying a new approach to navigation known as ‘tau’.
A raised ‘T’ is located in the centre of the user interface, surrounded by the most common functionalities such as the cursor keys and ‘ok’ and ‘exit’ buttons.
The T-button allows users to easily learn key locations, and as a result they will no longer need to look at the remote to find their way around the TV and box menus.
The 33mm- wide tau has a smooth glass-like appearance featuring aluminium sides.
It is designed specifically for use with set-top-boxes, and its cover can be printed, and the button allocation programmed, to customer design.
