Unitymedia lauches first PVR

The German cable operator Unitymedia has launched its first PVR.The Samsung DCB-P850G, it includes a 160 GB hard disk.
Unitymedia is offering the PVR for a monthly rental fee of €5 to its triple play customers and €10 to its basic digital TV subscribers.
Unitymedia reported 1.22 million digital TV households out of its total of 4.6 million connected cable TV households as of December 31, 2008.
The operator also said it has 630,000 broadband internet homes and 363,000 telephony customers at the end of last year.
