Brighcove’s CEO Jeremy Allaire has announced two new German clients, Discovery Germany and Sevenload, at the Next09 conference in Hamburg, Germany.
Discovery Networks Germany has chosen the Brightcove platform for its online video portal DMAX.de. The ad-supported content will include archived episodes of past seasons of shows, new episodes of recently aired shows for catch-up TV purposes, as well as online premieres of selected new episodes prior to their television debut.
Series will include Die Ludolfs, Der Checker and D-Motor.
Brightcove has also announced a distribution partnership with sevenload, one of Germany’s social media networks for video, photos and Web TV content. The partnership will enable Brightcove customers to distribute online video content to sevenload’s social media platform.
