Channel One expands in France

The French IPTV operator Neuf/SFR has begun to carry Russia’s leading TV station Channel One.
The service, which is represented by Thema in France, is being made available to subscribers on an à la carte basis for €1 a month.
Channel One is already widely available outside its home market, broadcasting 24 hours daily in East and West Europe, North America, Australia, Africa and the Middle East.
Neuf/SFR has also started to carry the Arabic pre-school channel Baraem as part of tits basic tier. Baraem is the first pre-school Arabic television for children between the ages of 3 and 6 years. The deal has also been negotiated via Thema.
