Elion IPTV/cable take-up grows

Estonia’s Elion ended Q1 with 86,900 IPTV and cable TV subscribers, as opposed to 63,200 a year earlier.
Its triple play subscriber total rose from 58,600 to 82,100 over the same period.
Elion, which is a division of the incumbent telco Eesti Telekom, estimates that its market share in the cable coverage in the cable market increased by 6% in the year to March 31, 2009, reaching 28%.
