Slovenia’s first DTT multiplex has found itself without the leading commercial channels Pop TV, Kanal A and TV Pika.
According to Satkurier, all three have been dropped from the platform due to the non-payment of fees by their owner, CME-backed PRO Plus.
With MTG-backed TV3 having also been taken off earlier for the same reason, the multiplex has found itself distributing only the public broadcaster’s three channels, TV Koper and TV Maribor.
The dispute centres round the much higher fees charged to commercial channels than their public counterparts on the DTT platform.
