One of the leading protagonists in the development of the CI Plus specification has successfully completed the certification process.
The French developer Neotion said Wednesday that its NP4+ based Secure Module platform had been approved by DTV Labs, the officially appointed test centre for the CI Plus organisation.
Neotion’s test Professional Module has also been integrated into the official testing suite tool used by the CI Plus lab in its qualification of CI Plus TV sets and set-top boxes.
The company is now finalising a development kit to assist IDTV and set-top box manufacturers in the implementation of CI Plus. The development kit is due to be released at the end of April.
