The Business of Multiscreen Television
The Polish thematic channel TVN Lingua is set to close.
Its operator TVN says it has applied to the country’s National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) for permission to cease transmitting the service on July 15.
The channel, which taught viewers foreign languages, was launched on October 16, 2006 but failed to break even.
