Croatia’s Hrvatksi Telekom (HT) has signalled its intention to be involved in digital terrestrial broadcasting.
According to Business.hr, the incumbent telco has decided to participate in a DTT tender currently being organised by the Croatian Post and Electronic Communications Agency (HAKOM) for two DTT multiplexes (A and B).
Invitations for bids closed yesterday (March 30), and 10-year licences for the two multiplexes, each of which will cover 95% of the population, are likely to be awarded by April 28.
