CNN joins Freesat line-up

Freesat has received a significant boost with the announcement that CNN International is to join the free-to-air satellite platform.

CNN will appear on the Freesat EPG on March 24 alongside two other new channels; Rural TV and JML Direct.

“The launch of CNN International with its world-class reputation for global news and feature programming is an incredibly exciting addition to our line-up, we are delighted to have CNN on board, said Freesat MD Emma Scott.

In January CNN also joined the DTT platform Freeview with a part-time channel that replaced the Nuts TV venture.
