Hungary’s four largest cable operators – UPC, T-Kábel, Fibernet and Digi – saw their broadband internet subscriber total rise by 1.3% to 541,000 in January 2009.
At the same time, according to data published by the National Communications Office (NHH), the ADSL subscriber total rose by 0.5% to 799,000.
In total, the number of fixed broadband connections in Hungary at the end of January stood at 1.550 million.
