The Polish new generation DTH platform n aims to have almost 1.5 million subscribers by 2012, according to its president Maciej Sojka.
Quoted in Wirtualne Media, he added that its ARPU is expected to rise from last year’s level of PLN50 (€10.9) to PLN86.5 in 2012.
The platform’s projected subscriber figures do not take into account the pre-paid DTH service TNK, launched late last year.
They also predict that the Polish DTH market as a whole should have 7.5 million subscribers by 2012, up from the end-2008 total of 4.7 million.
As of earlier this week, n has been majority (51%) owned by TVN.
