The Business of Multiscreen Television
Lattelecom has opted for ECI Telecom’s GPON solution for its FTTH network.
The incumbent Latvian telco is constructing the network with a view to offering its subscribers, initially in the capital, Riga, internet access at speeds of 100 Mbps, rising to 500 Mbps by the end of the year.
ECI Telecom is working with its local partner DAN Communications on the project.
