Deutsche Telekom has announced the launch of its free online VOD portal Videoload. Over 600 movies and TV series episodes can be viewed at no cost to the viewer, with the service being paid for by advertising.
Last year the German operator launched its Videoload portal with paid content, but now a free version is launched alongside the pay offer. The library includes BBC titles such as Dr. Who, Little Britain, Spooks, Coupling and Life on Mars.
Original German language productions are also offered. They include “kriminovela” Das Geheimnis meines Vaters” from Studio Hamburg Produktion.
