The Czech commercial broadcaster Prima TV will launch what will be its second channel on April 1.
Digizone reports that the service, which will be known as Prima Cool and target a mostly male audience, will in fact make its debut earlier than Prima Club, a female-targeted channel until now expected to be the first to launch.
Prima Cool is likely to include coverage of the English Premier League, which has until now been carried on Prima TV.
Prima TV, which is backed by Modern Times Group (MTG), was awarded a licence for Prima Cool by the Radio and TV Council (RRTV) last December.
