Arris has reported increased revenues for 2008, but the $150 million rise in sales was largely thanks to the 2007 acquisition of C-COR.
In an investor call the company said that when the estimated combined sales of Arris and C-COR were compared, sales had fallen by about $129 million year on year.
On the balance sheet fourth quarter revenues increased by $42.8 million to $292.4 million. Full year 2008 revenues were $1,144.6 million, up $152.4 million, on full year 2007 levels.
The company said it was being hit by a reduction in building programmes that in turn were preventing new cable build.
