The Lithuanian incumbent telco TEO LT ended 2008 with almost 40,400 IPTV subscribers, or 2.3 times more than a year earlier.
At the same time, its DTT service, which made its debut last March, had already secured 26,300 subscribers.
TEO LT’s broadband internet subscriber total at the end of last year stood at 298,100, which was equivalent, according to the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA), to a market share of 48.2%.
TEO LT’s consolidated revenues for 2008 amounted to LTL826 million (€241.2 million), a 4.1% increase on the previous year.
Its net profit was meanwhile LTL160 million, or LTL3 million less than in 2007.
