Poland is likely to see the launch of a new IPTV service this autumn.
According to Satkurier, it would be operated jointly by the alternative telco Netia and new generation DTH platform n though find it difficult to include HD channels in its offer.
Netia is believed to have ended 2008 with around 400,000 broadband internet subscribers, while n has reportedly just passed the 550,000-subscriber mark.
IPTV has yet to make its mark in Poland, with TPSA’s videostrada, the only significant operation, claiming less than 60,000 subscribers as of Q3 2008.
