UPC Nederland will drop BBC Prime from its digital bouquet at the beginning of February. The Dutch cabler will continue to carry the national BBC channels BBC One, BBC Two, BBC Three and BBC Four as well as BBC World News.
BBC Prime continues to be available on the digital terrestrial Digitenne platform as the sole BBC channel. It is also available on the IPTV platform from Tele2 and KPN. BBC Prime is in addition available in Ziggo’s Digitaal Totaal tier.
The DTH platform Canal Digitaal Satelliet stopped distribution of the channel at the same time as UPC Direct cancelled Prime – the provider used the same feed.
