The Belgian French language DTH service TeleSat has officially been launched. The bouquet is available in two versions, named Basic and Basic Light.
The entry-level subscription costs €9.90 a month and offers the main Belgian channels, as well as a choice of French language channels. The complete line-up is RTBF La Une, RTBF La Due, RTL-TVI, Plug RTL, Club RTL, TF1, France Television (France 2, 3, 4 and 5), AB1, AB3, AB4, Dorcel TV, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, MTV and eight radio stations.
The Basic bouquet costs €13.90 a month and includes VRT een, Ketnet/Canvas, the MTV multiplex of music channels, AB Group thematic channels, ESPN America, TCM, Disney Channel, Virgin 17, Bébé TV, Hustler TV on top of the Basic Light line-up. The multiplex of movie channels from the Group AB is available as an option for €5.95. The number of channels is expected to rise in the coming months.
Also on the cards is a launch of the TeleSat service in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. There is at present no dedicated DTH platform available in the country.
