Brothers Blake and Jason Krikorian who developed the place-shifting Slingbox before selling the technology to STB manufacturer Echostar are to leave the company.
Jason Hirschhorn, president, Sling Media Entertainment Group and Ben Wright, COO at the Entertainment Group, are also expected to step down within the next few weeks.
Sling Media was sold to Echostar for $380 million (€286m) in September 2007. The technology streams content over the internet, anywhere in the world, from the user’s home receiver.
