Serbia’s Broadcasting Agency (RRA) has approved the last 63 licences for regional and local radio and TV stations, as well as broadcasters in Belgrade.
Since starting the allocation process in early 2007, the RRA has issued a total of 467 licences to radio and TV stations, which those for national broadcasting finalised in 2006. Meanwhile in neighbouring Macedonia, the private TV channel Kanal 5+ has officially starting broadcasting. Its schedule is made up of movies, TV series, documentaries, children’s shows, sport and information programmes.
A contract has been signed with a music and adult channel that will be broadcast after midnight.
