The Czech Republic is likely to allocate a future fifth multiplex to mobile TV and broadband services.
The news was given by Pavel Dvorak, the president of the Czech Telecom Office (CTU), to Digizone at a meeting this Monday (December 15).
He added that a second round of discussions on mobile TV would take place in January, and the CTU’s opinions clarified in a workshop scheduled for March.
Dvorak emphasised the CTU’s stance of technological neutrality for what will be the fifth multiplex.
