The online web TV portal Joost has launched a free iPhone application to make its content easily available on the Apple iPhone. With the free download viewers can access the full library of over 46,000 titles on the service.
Joost will stream video over Wi-Fi connections, but will not use EDGE or 3 GSM connections. The content available includes full-length movies such as Men in Black and Ghostbusters, music videos including Michael Jackson’s Thriller and a large number of TV shows.
Earlier this year, online video rival YouTube published a free iPhone application. Other online video portals are expected to follow suit, making watching video-on-the-go a lot easier.
