Finnish cablenet Elisa has repackaged its basic cable offering, in the process adding five new channels to its line-up.
The Tampere-based network has adopted the S, M and L package model that has been used by Virgin Media for the past few years.
Joining the packages are BBC Knowledge, History Channel, music channel Mezzo, NASN (ESPN America) and Silver. Elisa’s HD package has also been recently extended with the launch of BBC HD; the SD BBC Entertainment and BBC Lifestyle are already carried.
The price of the five-channel S package is €9.90 per month, reducing to €7.90 when taken with pay-TV services. 15 channels are contained within the M bouquet for €24.90, while the 28-channel L package comes in at €29.90.
All Finnish cable networks are required to offer a digital service following their analogue switch off earlier this year.
