Publicly owned TVP remains by far the most popular broadcaster in Poland.
According to data produced by TNS OBOP, its first channel TVP1 claimed an audience share of 22.83% amongst viewers aged 4+ in November, with its second channel TVP2 the next most watched service with 16.30%.
TVN and Polsat were in third and fourth spots with 16.02% and 14.98% respectively. TVP1 was also the most watched channel in the lucrative 16-49 demographic, with a share of 19.38%.
TVN came second (17.92%), followed by Polsat (17.61%) and TVP2 (15.06%).
Although news-based TVN24 remains the most watched thematic channel in Poland, it continues to lose share, its 3.04% figure in November 2008 (among viewers aged 4+) being down from 3.50% a year earlier.
Disney Channel (0.87%), AXN (0.83%) and Mini Mini (0.70%) were the next most watched thematic services in November 2008.
