More details have emerged about Tring, a new DTH platform that made its debut in Albania in September.
According to Eutelsat, the service, which is operated by Albanian Satellite Communications (ASC), offers 20 channels, several of which – including Tring Super (film), Tring Gallery (general entertainment) and Tring World (documentary) – are proprietary.
Tring is a FTA service and distributed by Eutelsat’s W2 satellite.
Albania also has a second DTH platform, known as DigitAlb and operated by Top Media.
