BELGRADE BUSINESS BREAKFAST – The incumbent Serbian telco Telekom Srbija plans to launch a triple play service next year, according to Jelena Stojanovic, the company’s director of marketing and sales.
It is also likely to launch an IPTV service in neighbouring Montenegro and/or Bosnia and Herzegovina, markets it is already present in the both the fixed and mobile sectors, sometime in 2009.
Telekom Srbija started an IPTV service named Open IPTV in Serbia on a trial basis on October 15.
Offering 48 TV channels (with the number soon set to rise to 80), PPV, PPB (pay per block), BOD, nPVR and an EPG, it will make its full debut this December.
