Microsoft to offer free movies, series in Germany

From today, Microsoft will offer free on-demand movies and TV series on its MSN internet subsidiary, according to a report in the weekly magazine Der Spiegel. About 100 titles will be available, including feature length movies, TV series and cartoons.
Every programme will be preceded by pre-roll commercials. There will also be commercial breaks during the programmes, up to a maximum of 12 minutes per hour.
