The launch of a DTT platform in Poland has hit yet another hitch.
According to Wirtualne Media, the country’s two industry regulators – the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) and Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) are trying to reach a compromise on the terms of the tender for what will be the second multiplex.
The KRRiT believes that the multiplex licence holder should have no say in the content it carries, while the UKE says it should decide.
Despite this fundamental difference, an agreement could be reached later this month.
