Deutsche Telekom had around 497,000 IPTV subscribers across Europe as of the end of Q3. In Germany, the operator reports a fast increase to around 333,000 homes, or an increase of 33% in a single quarter. This was mainly due to its aggressive marketing and new pricing strategy.
At the end of September, the number of IPTV customers in Eastern Europe was at 164,000, driven mainly by Croatia, with a total of 92,000.
Together, the figure reached almost 500,000 across Europe.
