UPC Nederland will add three series from CBS-Paramount to its UPC On Demand platform. From November 6, two seasons from Frasier and Sex and the City will become available, followed in December by Twin Peaks and more seasons from the other two series.
The TV series are available free of charge to subscribers to the top-tier digital packages. Earlier this year, UPC added the ABC series Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy and Criminal Minds to its line-up.
At the moment, about 40% of all digital subscribers use the VOD service at least once a month. According to Ivo Lochtman, director content at UPC, “we see that UPC On Demand is becoming part of the daily routine of our subscribers.”
