The Dutch consumer TV show Radar has asked people who have complaints about the service offered by the cable operator Ziggo to come forward with their stories. The Dagblad van het Noorden newspaper has also started a similar call to its readers.
The operator continues to have problems with its customer care centre, which seems unable to solve problems. The call to action from the newspaper stems from issues with the telephony service of Ziggo, with dozens of people having no telephone for some time and no solution in sight.
The weekly Radar TV show has said for some time Ziggo has been in the top three companies that viewers complain about the most.
Ziggo was created by the merger of the MSOs Casema, Multikabel and @Home and has experienced troubles ever since its launch. The company launched a charm offensive and initiated the “largest consumer panel ever”, but so far this has not delivered any concrete results. According to a spokesperson, the company is now doing its upmost to solve the problems.
