The Business of Multiscreen Television
UPC has introduced a DVR product in Romania.
According to the operator, it is being made in available in 24 towns and cities, including Cluj Napoca, Iasi and Timisoara, though not yet in Bucharest.
The cost of renting the DVR has been added to the monthly subscription fee, with the most comprehensive package (‘Large’, with 109 channels), for instance, now being RON80 (€21.2) rather than RON65 a month.
