Italian IPTV platform Fastweb has added a new on demand channel from i-concerts, the first time the music provider has launched a branded service in Italy.
“i-concerts on-demand not only enriches our branded channels but is exciting for music fans of all ages,” said Andrea Conte, Fastweb’s consumer business unit director, “Fastweb TV, with its multi-thematic and multi-channel approach is a perfect match for an inquisitive target audience which is used to navigating on the Internet and is searching for new formats and new languages via a traditional medium like the TV.”
The channel is being made available within the Music&Fun section and includes live concerts and performances from artists including Paul McCartney, U2, REM, Amy Winehouse and Robbie Williams. Italian performers Eros Ramazzotti, Paolo Conte and Andrea Bocelli are also featured.
