The Russian company Akado has announced the full launch of its HDTV offer.
Consisting of five channels including Nat Geo HD, it is being made available to its Constellation subscriber at a special discount price of R300 (€8.2) a month, and others at rates starting at R900 a month.
Earlier this week Broadband TV News reported that Akado plans to invest $200 million (€138.5 million) on pay-TV and broadband services in 2009 and to eventually increase its triple play subscriber total from 800,000 to 2 million.
